Thiruvalla: Slamming the land encroachment in the name of 'Christian cross', Niranam Diocese Metropolitan Dr Geevarghese Mor Coorilose on last day said that Munnar encroachment is not an odd event.
The Syrian Orthodox Church Bishop also added that land should be used to cultivate crops, not for erecting cross. He had earlier applauded the process to raze down a massive christian cross in an encroached land in Munnar.
In his Face Book post, he lauded the anti-encroachment drive and removal of the cross from the encroached land.
