Kochi: The Ernakulam CBI court on Thursday rejected the petition filed by the brother of the NDF activist Fasal, seeking further probe into the sensational Fasal murder case.
In his petition, Fasal's brother Abdul Sathar asked the court to order a further probe into the case based on the confession statement by RSS worker Subeesh. Rejecting the petition, the court pointed that the statement does not have any legal value as it differs from the statement given to the police.
Recently, Subeesh's statement to the police confessing the role of RSS activists in the murder of NDF activist Muhammad Fasal in Thalassery has been made public.
