
New Delhi: Opposition parties said they will meet on June 22nd to discuss the presidential polls. The Trinamool Congress leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said the Opposition will inform its views on the matter after the meeting.
The Opposition expressed its displeasure with the NDA for announcing Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind, whom they do not support, as the presidential candidate. The CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said making Mr.Kovind the presidential candidate was an RSS agenda.
NDA alliance partner Shiv Sena said the candidate was chosen without discussing with the alliance partners. It also said it will announce later whom to vote for.
