Chennai: Hindu Makkal Katchi leader Arjun Sampath said superstar Rajinikanth will enter politics and free Tamil Nadu from the clutches of Dravidian rule.
After an hour long meeting with the actor at the latter’s Poes Garden residence, the Hindu Makkal Katchi leaders said this . Speaking to the media after the meeting, Sampath said, “Tamil Nadu has been suffering under the Dravidian rule for the last 50 years. I told Rajinikanth that his service was much required for the people of Tamil Nadu, given the prevailing political situation in the state.”
“Rajinikanth said the system is corrupt. We know only he can fix it and bring about an alternative politics. When we asked Rajinikanth to enter politics, he said he is in preparation for the same," he added.
