
Thiruvananthapuram: A serious allegation regarding accepting of bribe against some senior BJP leaders marked the party in trouble. An internal enquiry report that came out last day revealed enumerating the allegation that a senior party leader accepted 5.60 crores as bribe for starting a Medical College at Cheruppulassery.
According to the investigation report the owner of Varkala SR College, R Shaji, has given the amount to BJP co-operative cell convener RS Vinod to acquire the affiliation from Indian Medical Association. Shaji revealed the allegation in front of the Commission.
The name of party general secretary MT Ramesh was also included among the accused leaders list in the investigation report.
