People board from bus stops and waiting sheds and there's nothing new in it. But a bus stop in Hyderabad is grabbing all the attentions for its difference. The bus stop at Swaroopnagar colony is entirely made up of recycled plastic bottles and sheltered with bamboo shoots.
The recycled bus stop was conceptualised and constructed by Bamboo House India under their 'Recycle India initiative'. The bus stop was built by a 20-member team in just 2-3 days. While a proper bus stop with metal parts cost between two to three lakhs, the entire project cost only Rs 15,000 with each recycled bottle costing Rs 1.40 ps.
