Kochi: Poonjar MLA PC George on last day defended actor Dileep in the sensational case of abducting and assaulting a prominent actress in the Malayalam industry. Terming the current scenario 'harassment', George pointed that the assaulted actress joined the shooting sets soon after the attack.
He also added that there was no evidence showing that the actress was waylaid and attacked. Earlier, Mr George claimed that there was a conspiracy and the actor was being framed in the incident.
He even made specific reference saying that the conspiracy trail can be identified from the recent developments. Later police also said that they will question PC George for his remarks in the case.
