Kochi: The Special Investigation team probing the abduction and assault of a female actor in Kochi produced actor Dileep before the Judicial First Class Magistrate court through video conferencing on Wednesday. The court today extended Dileep's remand custody till August 22nd.
The actor was produced before the magistrate as his current remand period was slated to end today. Meanwhile, the police denied the reports that a nun counselled the actor in jail. The jail authorities also denied reports of the actor not keeping well inside the prison and receiving undue favours from the prison officials.
