Kochi: The High Court on Wednesday cancelled the civic body action of closing down actor Dileep's theater complex, 'D Cinemaas' in Chalakkudy. The court order came after Dileep's brother Anoop moved to the High Court questioning the action of Chalakkudy municipality.
Chalakudy municipality issued the closure order after it was found that the theater was using a high power motor without official permission.
Recently, a special meeting of the municipal council was held to discuss the issues connected with 'D Cinemaas'. The decision was based on complaints of violation of rules and guidelines in the construction of the multiplex.
