Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai became the first woman from India to hoist the Indian flag in Melbourne Indian film festival. The event was organised as part of the 70th year celebration of India’s Independence. Aishwarya along with her daughter Aaradhya sang the National Anthem.
Director Karan Johar, Nitesh Tiwari, actress Shilpa Shetty, actor Rajkummar Rao, were also present at the event.
