
Thiruvananthapuram: The Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on last day announced that adequate measures are being taken by the government to improve the transportation facilities in and around the state during Onam holidays. He wrote a letter to Central Railway Minister and Civil Aviation Minister requesting them to allow more trains and flights to Kerala during busiest festive season.
It was assumed that the number of travellers from other states and gulf countries will be high as part of Bakrid-Onam celebrations. The government also decided to start more KSRTC services during these busiest days.
