Kumarakom: The villagers of Kumarakom were panic and distressed after a drunkard monkey caused nuisance in their vicinity. The monkey who came to Kumarakom boat jetty a month ago became addicted for toddy which he started stealing from the coconut trees.
After drinking toddy he used to steal bananas from the shops. Due to this nuisance the shop keepers started hiding the bananas inside the shops. The villagers requested the authorities to catch the monkey as soon as possible as it is causing issues in their daily life.
