
Kozhikode: The recently-formed Women in Cinema Collective, a first of it's kind women organisation in Mollywood is always in the news columns being vocal about the sensational actress assault case.
In an recent interview with 'Vanitha', actress Manju Warrier, one of the active members of WCC dismissed the notion that it is against the patriarchy. 'It's a platform for women for voicing their concerns and rights', Ms. Warrier added.
Talking about the Collective's initiatives, the actress said that pension and scholarship programmes will be commenced with the help of government.
