After his Oscar winning working in 2009 released 'Slum dog millionaire', sound designer Resul Pookutty went on to work on many projects which received many accolades including national awards.
Now Mr Pookutty is all set to make his acting debut. As per the reports. The movie will be titled as 'The Sound Story' in Malayalam, and it will be directed by Prasad M Prabhakar.
If the reports are to be believed. Resul will be playing himself as a sound designer who comes to Thrissur to cover various sounds of the festival. But the highlight of the film is that visually impaired people too can enjoy the movie. 'This is a movie that you can watch with your eyes closed', says the director.
