Mukkam: The Kerala police on Thursday ascertained the activity of some extremist groups behind the violence that erupted at protest against Liquefied Natural Gas Project of the Gas Authority of India Limited at Mukkam town.
The police team probing the violence pointed that people even came from Malappuram for the protest. Meanwhile, the UDF had called for a hartal in Keezhuparamb , Karathorr, and Kodiyathur panchayats on Thursday in protest against the police action.
