New Delhi: Former Defence Minister and Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has said that the recent Doklam standoff between India and China had been predicted by the country's first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
He added that Patel had correctly predicted India's war with China and Pakistan, in a three-page letter written to the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Parikkar said that Patel's views on Kashmir were ignored and this was among the reasons behind the volatile situation in the northern state.
