
New Delhi: United Airlines has temporarily suspended flights to Delhi due to poor air quality in the national capital. The city's air quality deteriorated on Sunday after a sharp rise in the pollutant levels.
According to the data of Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality Index of Delhi is 460. Though the Delhi government decided to opt for the odd-even rule, the NGT turned down the suggestion.
Schools were closed and a a public health emergency has been declared in the state due the severe air quality.
