
Australian captain Steve Smith on last day described England's James Anderson as one of the biggest sledgers in the game, as the heat raised off-field at the Adelaide Oval on the eve of the second test.
Anderson compared the antics of the Australians to bullying in a column in a British newspaper but an amused Smith told reporters that when it comes to sledging, the England pace man was among the worst offenders.
In Brisbane last week, though, Anderson managed two wickets at the cost of 77 runs Smith put together a match-turning innings of 141 not out.
