After much speculation, the Telugu remake of ‘2 States’, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's bestselling novel in the same name, has been green-lit and it's slated to go on floors next month.
To be directed by debutante Venkat Reddy, a former associate of hit Telugu director VV Vinayak, the movie will feature actor writer Adivi Sesh, most popular for co-writing 'Kshanam'.
The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised and the process will take a couple of weeks more. Last year, there were reports that the project will feature Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles. However, they denied the rumours.
