Kozhikode: Ever since winning a favourable verdict from the Supreme Court on her marriage with Shefin Jahan, Hadiya has been making statement against people who dissuaded her from embracing Islam.
On Monday, she alleged that police officers and National Women's Commission members wanted her to return to Hinduism. She added that the people who visited her at home also persuaded her to convert back to Hinduism and counseled her with the 'Sanatana Dharma'.
Hadiya also accused that even though she love her parents, some people are controlling them for their political gains. 'These groups are anti-Islam. They are anti-national'. She also added that she did not want to name anyone in particular.
