Kochi: The Thrissur Vigilance court on Monday slammed the Vigilance officials for the delay in registering an FIR in the complaint over the alleged encroachment of actor Dileep.
The court allowed the officials one week's time to register the FIR. Even though a preliminary probe was conducted on the basis of the complaint, the vigilance pointed that the multiplex was not built on the encroached land and dismissed the encroachment allegations.
However, the Thrissur Vigilance court dismissed the preliminary investigation report submitted by the VACB which cleared the D Cinemaas of encroachment charges.
