
Palakkad: A day after the Malayalam industry stood with head high at the 65th National Awards, a new controversy popped up in the form of the 'best actress award'.
Late actress Sridevi bagged the award for best actress for her performance in 'Mom'. Meanwhile, jury member Vinod Mankara on Saturday alleged that actress Parvathy was supposed to bag the award.
He also added that the jury members was unanimously of the opinion for Parvathy's brilliant performance in 'Take Off'. Sridevi wasn't in the race from the beginning. The changes were made during the last minute..came to know about it only after the announcement', Mankara added.
