Thiruvananthapuram: The State government has engineered a reshuffle of middle ranking officers in the state law enforcement. The reshuffle comes at a time when the police were facing accusations of custodial torture and other human rights violations.
Yatheesh Chandra and Arul B Krishna has been appointed as the DCP of Thrissur and Kollam districts. Rahul R Nair has been appointed as new Ernakulam Rural SP. R Nishantini (Head quarters), MK Pushkaran (Thrissur Rural ) Dr Sreenivas (Kasargode) were also reshuffled.
The law enforcement has also changed its Inspector General of Police, Intelligence. Ashok Yadhav will take charge as the new Intelligence IG.
