Agra: An alarming case of medical malpractice came to light after a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Agra filed an RTI plea seeking to find his own blood group.
Filed by Rahul Chitra to the Medical Council of India, Rahul claimed that he was handed out different medical reports regarding his blood group after the test was conducted at different labs of the region.
As per the reports, Chitra said that one of the reports is showing that whether he is Rh negative while the other revealed that it was positive. Notably, the man had undergone blood tests at 4 different pathological labs in Agra. The tests showed he has two blood types: B positive, B negative.
The man has now moved to Central Information Commission. Narrating his ordeal, the man said that such negligence by the medical practitioner can cost his life.
