
New Delhi : India on Wednesday lodged protested with Pakistan and China over a bus service, which is scheduled to be launched on Saturday between Lahore and Kashghar, through Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
We have lodged strong protests with China and Pakistan on the proposed bus service that will operate through Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir under the so-called China-Pakistan Economic Corridor," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said in response to queries from the media.
Any bus services through Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir will be a violation of India's sovereignty and territorial integrity Touted as project under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, the key project is under Chinese President Xi Jinping's pet Belt and Road initiative ( BRI).
