Amid the ongoing reports over the director – producer clash of Mamankam, Oscar winning Sound designer Resul Pookutty has pointed that if the news on Mamankam is to be believed, It's a shame

If the news on #Mamankam film is to be believed, it’s a shame on the creative community of #MalayalamCinema It was one of the best script I had read in 2018, it had all the possibility of breaking out Malayalam Cinema in the international space, sad to see it ended up like this.

Earlier, there were also confused reports emerged regarding the replacing of actor Dhruvan and director Sajeev Pillai. The quarrel took an ugly turn after the director alleged that the movie's producer Venu Kunnappilly was threatening him. According to the latest reports, the film has now resumed shoot without Sajeev Pillai.
