Thiruvananthapuram : The state government has allocated Rs 1,367 Crore for PWD and pointed that the state is all set to build up to 6,000 km of Roads.
The government also announced tax exemption for electric vehicles. 10 Lakhs electric vehicles will hit the roads by 2022. Rs 12 Crore had been allotted for E-mobility fund. KSRTC will be complete switch over to electric buses in Thiruvananthapuram. Subsidy has been announced 10,00 electric auto rickshaws.
Rs 1,000 Crore has been announced for the rehabilitation of fisher folk. The construction of high speed Thiruvananthapuram - Kasargod railway track will begin this year.
