Idukki : Devikulam Sub-Collector Renu Raj on Monday filed a report to the Advocate General demanding an action against the contempt of court against Devikulam MLA S Rajendran.
In the report, the sub collector pointed that the MLA backed the unauthorized construction and his actions were clear case of contempt of court.
Even after a memo was issued, the illegal construction continued. When the revenue team had reached on Friday to stop construction of a shopping complex by Munnar panchayat. They were blocked and sent back. More over, the MLA verbally abused the sub collector,.
