Thiruvananthapuram : The Kerala Police has launched a massive search hunt for Imam Shafeek Al Qassimi, who was booked under the POSCO act for attempting to sexually assault a minor girl.
The Imam had been absconding since the incident. Meanwhile, the Vithura police said Shafeek has been slapped with Section 7 and 8 of POSCO Act.
As per the reports, the police have asked him to surrender via his lawyer. However, the victim had denied any sexual misconduct from the Imam during the counseling done the Child Welfare Society.
