Thiruvananthapuram : The police have issued a lookout notice against former Tholicode Jamaath Imam Shafeeq Moulavi, accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl.
Besides the POCSO, the investigation team also slapped charges of rape against the Imam.
Meanwhile, the police have already arrested one of the brothers of the Imam from Kochi for harbouring the accused and helping him escape. The girl also gave her statement to the police and Child Welfare Committee that the Imam sexually assaulted her.
