Periya : In a shocking turn of events, Peethambaran, the former CPM Periya local committee and the prime accused in the Periya twin murder case has denied the charges filed against him.
Peethambaran denied any connection with the case, after the police presented him before the magistrate . He also added that the police officials threatened him to confess the crime.
However, Peethambaran and driver Saji George had been remanded to the judicial custody for two weeks. Earlier Peethambaran had confessed the crime. He also cited personal vengeance as the reason and said that he killed them under ganja influence.
