Mumbai : PM Narendra Modi, the biopic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to hit the theaters soon. A trailer from the movie released on Wednesday and credited Javed a a lyricist.
However, the poet-lyricist said that he has not written any songs for the biopic. Mr Akhtar's denial on twitter kicked off a storm and quickly became a top trend.
His tweet reads ;

The screenshot from "PM Narendra Modi" trailer credited Javed Akhtar at the bottom of the poster as a lyricist along with Central Board of Film Certification chief and well-known lyricist Prasoon Joshi, Sameer and others.
However, twitter was a divided with many claiming that the lyricist credited could be different Javed Akhtar. Directed by Omung Kumar of Sarbjit and Mary Kom fame, the movie will hit the theaters on April 5.
