Thiruvananthapuram : The Kerala Assembly witnessed some dramatic turn of events with the governing side and opposition locking horn over the cot Naseer murder attempt case.
Serving a adjournment notice, the opposition demanded to halt the assembly procedures and discuss the issue. The opposition alleged that the police was protecting AN Shamseer, the accused in the case.
However, Chief Miniter Pinarayi Vijayan cited it as a 'isolated incident'. Enraged by this, the opposition staged a walk out from the assembly.
