New Delhi : Former Union Minister and Senior BJP Leader Arun Jaitely passed away. He was 66. Jaitely was under treatment in All India Institude of Medical Sciences after he complained of breathlessness and restlessness.
AIIMS had not issued any bulletin on Mr Jaitely's health since August 10. His condition was deteriorated later.
Arun Jaitley, who served as the finance minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government's first term, had refused to become a part of Modi Cabinet in the second stint because of his ill health. He did not contest the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections as well.
