
New Delhi : Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has told CBI to take further action in accordance with the law on the IB report red-flagging former Madras High Court Chief Justice VK Tahilramani's alleged irregularities.
The IB submitted the report after Tahilramani resigned following the CJI-led collegium on September 3 reiterating its decision to transfer as Chief Justice of Meghalaya HC
According to CBI sources, the IB report made a analysis of financial transactions made by Justice Tahikramani to arrange Rs 3.18 Crore to purchase two newly built flats at the outskirts of Chennai.
