Kochi : State President of BJP, PS Sreedharan Pillai has been appointed as the Governor of Mizoram. The appointment is along with three other.
Radhakrishna Madhur as Lieutenant Governor of Ladak, Girish Chandra Murmur as Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, and Jammu & Kashmir Governor Sathypal Malik as Governor of Goa.
Pillai was serving his second term as the state president of the party. Incidentally, Pillai is the third Keralite to be appointed as Mizoram Governor.
The first was veteran Congress leader Vakkom Purushothaman in 2011.
