Director's Association FEFKA has intervened in the issue between actor Bineesh Bastin and Director Anil Radhakrishnan, after the latter insulated and refused to share the stage with the actor. Both the duo were invited for a college function and Mr Anil allegedly asked the college authorities not to allow Bineesh, a 'third-rate actor' on stage.
He also wanted the college authorities to make sure that Bineesh comes to the stage only after he leaves the stage. In a video that is going viral on social media, Bineesh can be seen walking with the Principal of the college.
Speaking to the people who gathered the place was quite taken back from the surprise entry of Mr Bastin. ' I m not a Menon, just an unskilled laborer, I am not from a high caste. I used to fix tiles for a living before entering the movies. I am facing one of the biggest insults in my life,” said actor Bineesh Bastin while sitting and protesting on a college stage in Palakkad town of Kerala yesterday.
