
Kochi : Amid the ongoing protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, Kerala Chief Minisyer Pinarayi Vijayan moved a resolution against the CAA in the state Assembly. Opposition UDF also came in support of the decision.
Pointing that the bill is unconstitutional, CM Vijayan assured that no detention centers will come up in state. He also demanded that the law which aims a division and discrimination against a community should be withdrawn.
Kerala is the first state India to pass a resolution against the Citizenship Amendment Act.
