
Kollam : In an embarrassing incident, a top bureaucrat, Anupam Mishra, has reportedly jumped his home quarantine and fled from the state.
Mishra is a civil servant and Sub-Collector of Kollam district. He was under 14 days mandatory home quarantine from 19 March on account of his recent international travel.
Upon investigation, his cell tower was last traced to Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur, although his native state is Rajasthan.
However, a statement released by Thiruvananthapuram range IG Sanjay Kumar Garudin said that a case has been filed against the IAS officer and his gunman for violating the orders .
