In a shocking and devastating incident, a 14-year-old girl committed suicide by setting herself on fire at Irimbiliyath in Malappuram.
Parents of Devika, a 10th standard student, said that she was worried about missing the online classes as she had no smartphone or TV to attend the virtual classes.
According to the reports, she was distressed after she couldn't attend the online classes. Her parents did not have enough money to prepare the arrangement for an online class.
