The key accused in the murder of Abhimanyu, SFI leader in Ernakulam Maharaja's College, surrendered before the court. Nettoor native Mekkatt Sahal Hamsa is a Campus Front activist and had been on the run for two years.
Sahal surrendered before the Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court on Thursday by 12 noon. Only Sahal was yet to be nabbed in the case which was dragging on for almost two years.
Abhimanyu was stabbed to death by a group allegedly owing allegiance to the Campus Front of India on the night of July 2.
