Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief of Republic TV, has filed a bail plea accusing the Mumbai Police of harassing him.
He also alleged that he was "forced to drink a liquid" by police officers while they surrounded him. He also said that after drinking the liquid he got choked.
The High Court heard the petition filed by Goswami seeking interim bail on Saturday. The plea challenged his arrest in the 2018 abetment.
