The doctor treating RJD's convicted and incarcerated chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has landed in trouble for issuing statements to media on his health.
Dr Umesh Prasad had shared that lalu's kidney function has deteriorated to 25 percent and is in stage 4. He had also said that if the condition detoriates further, Lalu would need dialysis.
Dr Prasad has been issued a show-cause notice from Director RIMS Dr Kameshwar Prasad for sharing information with media in an unauthorised way.
