The statewide dawn to dusk motor vehicle strike to protest against spiralling fuel price hike has started from 6am to 6pm today
The strike has been called by a joint protest committee (samyukta samara samithi).
rikeAll trade unions, except BMS, would participate in the strike.
Normal life was severely hit due to the strike which would see public transport vehicles largely off the road.
KSRTC unions and private bus operators have expressed solidarity to the strike. Private buses, autorikshaws, taxis and trucks would keep off from roads.
