DMK chief MK Stalin's son-in-law was raided by Income Tax officials today, just four days before the Tamil Nadu election.
Searches started around 8 am at four places in Chennai owned by Sabareesan and his associates.
Among the premises searched by taxmen was a home in Neelangarai, just outside Chennai, where Mr Stalin's daughter Senthamarai lives with Sabareesan.
Tax department sources told NDTV there were inputs on the movement of cash related to the election campaign.
