Thiruvananthapuram: The Vigilance court on last day day dismissed the petition against former Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau Director N Shankar Reddy. The court dismissed the petitions submitted by a Payichira native Navaz, alleging sabotage in solar scam case and a plea to probe IPS officer’s letter to the current Vigilance Director.
One of the petitions alleged that Shankar Reddy covered up the complaints filed by Saritha Nair against Oommen Chandy. Earlier, the vigilance informed the Court that solar case was again brought up with the intention of gaining media attention. The vigilance also informed the court that there was nothing wrong in Shankar Reddy 's writing to Jacob Thomas.
