
12 wagons of a goods train full of coal derailed, while a few others fell from a bridge in Madhya Pradesh's Anuppur district.
Nobody was injured in the incident which took place between Venkatnagar and Nigora stations around 4:30 pm on Friday.
The train was on its way to Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur from Bilaspur in Chattisgarh when it derailed near a bridge over the Ailan river, said Ramji Lall Meena, PRO of the South-East Central Railway.
Senior railway officials rushed to the spot. There was no human presence at the site when the accident took place, the PRO informed.
