Police on Monday registered a case against former MLA V T Balram and five other Congress leaders for violating covid restrictions and manhandlig a youth.
On Sunday, a video surfaced on social media which showed Congress MP Ramya Haridas, Balram and other leaders sitting at a hotel for lunch by violating lockdown restrictions in Palakkad.
Palakkad native Sanoob recorded the video. Angered by his questioning, they shouted and manhandled Sanoop. Meanwhile, MP Ramya Haridas explained that they were simply waiting for the parcel
