Thrissur: Two people were caught from Kuthiran while attempting to transport 22.50 lakh rupees of unaccounted money. Tamil Nadu native Rajith and Rajasthan native Rawal were the ones caught.
Following reports that black money hoarders will attempt money laundering due to the demonitisation of 500 and 1000 rupees notes, the Income Tax department conducted raids at several locations such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Mumbai on Thursday.
