Govt allows domestic flights to operate at full capacity from October 18

The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Tuesday permitted to restore the scheduled domestic air operations from October 18, without any capacity restriction.

Currently, the cap on domestic flight capacity is at 85 per cent.

An order from the Civil Aviation Ministry stated that "after review of the current status of Scheduled Domestic Operations viz-a-viz passenger demand for air travel", the ministry has "decided to restore all scheduled domestic operations with effect from 18-10-2021 without any capacity restriction".
